Houston newborn portrait photographers, Belly to Baby Studios, recently captured this tender moment between a Mom and her newborn son: Mom & Baby’s first newborn portraits. He was only 12 days old at the time this portrait was taken. We just completed Thomas’ newborn session and I asked his Mom if she would like to take a few photos with her son; just the two of them. She agreed and as I was talking with her during the session, this moment happened. I always encourage Moms to just take a few photos with their baby while they are so little. Of course, most of the time, all Moms tell me how tired they are, and how they don’t feel like getting in front of a camera especially after just delivering a baby. I get it, I was at that stage also and also felt the same way…tired, exhausted and hormones going crazy. But as time goes on we all are busy and we will never get this time back, nor will our babies be this small and tiny in our arms. Time goes fast and our memories of moments and details will fade. The best way to preserve those memories is through a photograph.
