During our Family Portrait Session consultation, we will discuss the details of your session as well as clothing for your Family session. Color harmony and balance is key to a finished Portrait. We do have a private nursing and dressing area available for our clients during their sessions. Many clients get dressed at our studio for their session and have time for finishing touches for hair and makeup.

We strive to create artwork for your home that can be hung in a nursery or hallway. Newborns stay this small for a short window of time. So many parents come back to us at 3 months and 6 months to document the growth of their baby. It is very important to capture this time in a baby’s life since they grow so fast. Houston newborn photographer, Lisa Carr with Belly to baby Studios, recently photographed this newborn girl, Annie. The session was held here in our studio where we have access to our props, wraps, and accessories for newborn photography in Houston.

Before Annie’s session her Mom and I spoke over the phone about the session and the props, wraps and colors she was drawn to for her newborn baby’s Portraits. She knew she wanted a wall Portrait of Annie as well as a Family Portrait with Annie included. Before the family arrived for Annie’s newborn session, I pulled the colors and wraps that I felt would best complement the home décor and style. I knew I was on track because Annie’s Mom walked in and loved everything I selected and gave her approval.

During the session we captured a variety of images that would be perfect as finished Wall Portraits, gift Portraits for the grandparents, and that would be perfect in her custom album. Here are just a few of my favorite Newborn Portraits from Annie’s newborn session.

We were able to capture a variety of images during her newborn photography session here at our studio. Being a Mom myself, I feel like it was just yesterday that we were bringing our daughter home from the hospital and she was a newborn. Time goes by even faster when you have a baby and your family is growing. It’s so important to photograph your baby as a newborn, and at the milestones: 3-4 months old, 6-7 months old and especially when your baby turns 1! You will never get this time back, and printed photographs are the best way to preserve and capture those moments and details. We are a full service maternity and newborn portrait studio and offer options to our clients. Our studio is located in a commercial office building near the Galleria.
It is equipped with a sales room, camera room, and private changing/nursing/relaxation room.
